H2B2 is a technology company that promotes, develops, finances, designs, integrates, builds, operates and maintains hydrogen production systems based on water electrolysis, providing complete solutions for generation, compression, storage, commercialization, refilling stations and all other uses of green hydrogen.

Position Overview

H2B2 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our business in the German market and expanding our presence in the European region. While fluency in German and English is required, proficiency in Spanish is considered a significant advantage, as it will involve communication with clients and partners in these languages.

Key Responsibilities

The main tasks will be as follows:

  1. Market Expansion:
    – Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand H2B2’s market presence in Germany and across Europe.
    – Identify and prioritize new business opportunities and target industries for electrolyzer solutions.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    – Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners in the region.
    – Identify key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations and establish rapport.
  3. Sales and Revenue Generation:
    – Achieve sales targets and revenue goals for H2B2’s electrolyzer products.
    – Develop and negotiate contracts, proposals, and pricing agreements
  4. Market Analysis:
    – Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs.
    – Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and refine the sales strategy.
  5. Language Skills:
    – Communicate fluently in German and English, and proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage to engage with a diverse clientele and collaborate with international teams.
  6. Networking and Partnerships:
    – Identify potential partners and distributors to enhance the company’s distribution network.
    – Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a network and represent H2B2.
  7. Reporting and Documentation:
    – Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions,
    and market analysis.
    – Provide regular reports and updates to the management team.


– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role
within the industrial or energy sector.
– Good knowledge of the renewable energy industry.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Results-oriented and self-driven, with a track record of meeting or
exceeding sales targets.
– Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
